Here you will find information regarding EMS, E-911 and Emergency Management, along with County Transportation in Scotland County as well as links to all-related web pages. Our Mission

Scotland County Emergency Service's mission is to serve as the Public Safety Answering Point for E-911 calls placed by county residents, to process those calls in the appropriate manner, transferring calls to the Sheriff's Department, the Fire Department, and the Laurinburg Police Department as required; and in cases of medical emergencies, dispatch professionally staffed Paramedic units with Rescue Squad equipment and personnel to provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and transport to the citizens of and visitors to Scotland County
