RFQ for Emergency Operations/911 Center Project

         General Contractors are hereby notified of Scotland County’s intention to construct a new Emergency Operations and 911 Center.  The project delivery method for construction will be competitive bid, single prime. The General Contractor selection process for this Project is a two-phase process.  Scotland County is prequalifying firms interested in providing General Contractor services for the Project through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process.

         Participation in the Bidding Phase of this Project will be limited to ONLY those General Contractor firms who have submitted a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in response to this RFQ that have been deemed prequalified by Scotland County. General Contractors that fail to respond to this RFQ by the submission deadline and General Contractors that have not been deemed prequalified by Scotland County shall be automatically disqualified from bidding on this Project.

         Interested General Contractors must submit an RFQ interest form by the date indicated.   General Contractors who submit an interest form will be provided with a RFQ package that includes AIA Document A305 – 1986 and instructions for completion of the SOQ. (RFQ package can be obtained by requesting: “RFQ Scotland 911/EOC Package Request” at  rhammond@scotlandcounty.org  )

         The complete SOQs will be received by Roylin Hammond,  Director of Emergency Services, at Scotland County Emergency Services, P.O. Box 1407,  Laurinburg, North Carolina,  28353,  no later than 5 PM Daylight Savings Time June 28, 2013.
