Library Policies
You must have your library card to check out items and access the computer. Children of 8 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult Library cards are free to Scotland County Residents, but $2 to replace if lost. Children between ages 6 and 17 must have parental permission to obtain a library card. Nonresidents of Scotland County may obtain a Library card for $5 annually. Nonresidents of NC may obtain a Library card for $25 annually. Anyone possessing your card is free to use it. You are responsible for all materials checked out on your account. If a library card is lost or stolen, contact your library immediately to protect your account.
